Bandfuse is really user friendly especially if you are used to reading guitar tab. What I really like about Bandfuse is that you can really learned an entire song, both lead and rhythm parts. The best feature of Bandfuse is it will let you play at the highest level right from the start so that you can see how the song is actually played note for note. You may not be able to actually play at that level yet but at least you know what to shoot for. This feature helps with the fingering positions at the lower levels because you know what the notes and chords will eventually be at the highest level. I own the original Rocksmith and it was interesting and engaging but also very frustrating because you could not see the entire song note for note so that really effects your fingering and rhythm. I hate the way Rocksmith automatically levels you up by randomly throwing in extra notes because if you don't hit the new notes right away, Rocksmith levels you back down and it is really hard to progress. Rocksmith is also hard to see all of the notes at once as they are coming at you and seem to be shifting around, very distracting. Rocksmith is ok if you want to play a guitar video game, but if you really want to know how to play an entire song, go with Bandfuse!! May the Gods of Rock strike a power chord in your honor.
