Very Sturdy - make sure to use studs when installing,

This is a pretty nice shelf - generous size and very sturdy. I am using it to hold up a large center speaker above my flat tv. Installation is pretty easy.
The only caveat I have is make sure you are using studs to hold this thing up. While that should be a no-brainer for most people, the occasional person might have a reason where they can't use a stud (like my instance). I was pairing this shelf with another shelf that mounts its bracket vertically (against the stud). To evenly position this shelf above my other shelf, I didn't have a stud available (since the stud was in the middle). Unfortunately, this shelf doesn't have a mounting hole in the middle, so I was left with a couple of drywall screws on both ends - big mistake. The way the arms and bracket work together, you have almost a hammer-pull like effect on your mounting screws. This ended up pulling out the drywall screws about 30 minutes after my installing was complete, sending my speaker to the ground.
Somehow the speaker didn't break (or break anything else), so I corrected my setup by drilling my own hole in the middle of the mounting bracket which let me use the stud. I also picked up some toggle bolts to hold it securely in the drywall on both ends.
