Cooking, Laughing, and Family Virtue,
This review is from: General Foods Kitchens Cookbook (Hardcover)
My wife and I received this cook book in 2011 from a friend in Preston, England. We were sceptical at first, of the quality of the recipes and we often made fun of the 1950's attitude towards women hood. However, after making some of the recipes and tasting how delicious the food was our view of the book changed. I can say that in just a few months this cookbook has become the go to book in our kitchen. I highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to go a little outside their cooking bubble. Besides that, you and your spouse can have a laugh at some of the basic principles of the 1950's, yet find yourselves appreciating the simple virtues of family.
