This is the best they can do?,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Stronghold 3 - PC (Video Game)
Huge fan of this series - yes even Legends I could tolerate. Regardless, Firefly has forced me to actually get a pen name and create a review for the first time. I have bought many items from Amazon, and always thought that writing a review (which I usually listen to - or at least use to make a basic opinion) was a good way to pass along information about good products when shopping around. Having said that 99.9% of all products I have bought have been good or exceptional. This game sucks badly - in every imaginable way. The bugs make it unplayable, crashes when you get close to finishing the scenario, units will not respond immediately and food and people production is very frustrating. I really can't believe they released this as it is. Yes, they will sell some games and cover their costs - but trust me when I say they have hurt their fan base badly. I pre-ordered this game. Never again Firefly - you have proven that customer satisfaction is not a concern with your company. I imagine others will remember as well.

Aw really? WHAT is UP with Corporate America and PC gaming? THEY ARE RUINING ALL OF MY FAVORITE TITLES!!! I honestly don't understand what is happening? I was really looking forward to purchasing and playing this game, but with so many negative reviews there is no way.
Seriously, the Corporate PC world needs to completely restructure, maybe shut down all the over-sized corporate fat-cat organizations and re-orient behind small developers, letting them stay small and focused on individual titles. Instead, these organizations keep spitting out crappier and crappier versions of the same game. Think about what business model that follows...HOLLYWOOD. The first movie is ground-breaking, the second is funny (maybe), the third movie then either redeems the series or is utterly worthless. Well, here's a perfect example of a game that followed the Hollywood business model exactly, S1 was very fun, S2 was okay, S3 is garbage.
That just shows who is in now in charge of PC gaming, the same Top-Down Financier turd-burglars who are in charge of Hollywood, Wall Street, and the US Government.

That says alot when someone creates an account because a product is so bad it warrants the effort. With that said, I played the game last night and immediately came here to see what the reviews were like and this is excactly what I thought.
SH2 was an awesome (imo) title so I was excited to try out the new version...wow.
It's really not good, not going to get all overdramatic but I wouldnt/couldnt reccommend this game - and Im suprised at Firefly, they are like the Blizzard of this genre and until this game, they all ran 100% out the box. Someone screwed the pooch on this one.

The graphics are considerably better - much better game engine - but no skirmish mode? What is the replay value even IF you could get around all the bugs? I would have probably got the game even with bad reviews - because it just could not be that bad right? Wrong!!

The promotional video is even worse than the game.
