5.0 out of 5 stars Great design and impressive to use, December 18, 2011
This review is from: Deglon Meeting Knife Set, Stainless Steel Knives and Block, Set of 4 (Kitchen)
I love the look of this set. For $1k you can't beat this for quality and design. I can tell the designer must have worked as a sous chef to create this. the fact that the handle size decreases with the knife size keeps you alert to the fact that some things you cut are really small. It is also nice that pressing down on the sharp tip removes the knife. I grew the nail on my index finger extra long and can now do this trick where i tap hard on the tip of a knife and it just flips right up in my hand. Well, I had to practice a lot and cut a few tendons in the process, but once I got it down it was such a cool thing.

Yes. That is why I surmised the designer did a lot of the chopping and cutting, unlike the executive chef, who merely marveled at the look of the product without experience it's practical design.
