Before you spend $89.98 (which is what Amazon is charging at the writing of this review) consider this:
1)If you are used to the first two Max Payne games, THIS is going to be a pain in the @$$ for you. It plays like a movie, LOTS of cut-scences and the new interface is not a smooth transition.
2) Unless you rock at "Call of Duty" or any of those other first-person blitzkreigs, don't bother with this. All of the good games are moving over to "Black Ops" type of combat enviroment. So unless you have the hand-eye co-ordination of a 12-year old, hang it up. It seems like the only thing to do is move fast, point and shoot. The first two MP had better story lines, were better laid out and more involving. There is just something missing from this sequel that makes it less than MP 1 & 2.
If high speed action is something you like, this game is for you. But if you like to "really" get into a game, you might want to pass this one up. I am glad I listened to my wife who advised against the DLC until I was sure I liked this game. It took less than 2 hours for me to dismiss this headache. Glad I saved the money...
