a good history lesson,
This review is from: Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy (Hardcover)
For someone like me in my twenties, this is a great first account story told by the Jackie who lived in an important time in history. The audio itself could be difficult to understand at times due to recording technologies at the time, they didn't do it in a sound proof room. and I'm listening to it in my car. I also don't know most of the people being talked about in the audio. That's where the book comes in handy, it has all the explanation of all these people. These audio tapes is a great gift from Jackie to the future generations. You really get to see the kind of person Jackie was, very regal and loyal to JFK. She also spoke very frankly about all these people, I guess that's why they kept the audio locked up for that long.

It is very important to read other peoples comments before you buy any book. These books are not what they seem, a wast of money...

You might want to do your own research on who the people are that you don't know. This is a very self-serving account, meant to "canonize" the dead JFK. Jackie is hardly able to speak in full sentences and sounds like she was drugged.
