This review is from: Vows of Silence: The Abuse of Power in the Papacy of John Paul II (Hardcover)
It may seem strange that one of the subjects of "Vows of Silence" writes a review, but the book is far too important to pass up this opportunity. Besides, the Legion of Christ has front-loaded the net with its own reviews.
Apart from the information about me (Doyle),which is 99% accurate, the only inaccuracies being very minor, the immense value of this book is the fact that it courageously uncovers the dishonesty of the Legion of Christ and its sexually abusing founder/leader. Catholics from the Vatican on down to the pews are duped by this outfit. Berry and Renner dug deep into the inner workings of the Catholic Church's strange governing world and found corruption. Many people, lay and clergy, are not able to handle what they found, but find it they did. The Church, Catholics and secular society are much better off because of the honest and detailed rendition of the bizarre story of this cultish organization. If men and women of integrity look for reasons for the senselessness of the church's response to the sex abuse crisis, they will find some valuable and shocking answers in this book. The blindness and the denial of justice starts at the top. Thomas Doyle

Kudos Fr. Doyle. I hope you got your 20 years in and are enjoying a military retirrement. I despise what the Catholic hierarchy did in trying to silence you. You walk in the footsteps of other truth exposers like Galileo and Fr. Pierre de Chardin.

KT says:
The Catholic priest have always been doing this but now we have technology to bust them, before when complaints happened they were stuffed under the rug for centuries
BY THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF THE CHURCH AS WE HAVE BEEN SEEING SINCE THE 1950s!!

BUT EVERYBODY BEFORE THAT IS DEAD AND GONE ALREADY!!!!

you can't forbid a man to marry, 1 Corinthians 7 Paul wrote feeling he was living in soon to be last days, if not his generation then right after, Paul would NOT have written that chapter if he KNEW that it was going to be over 2000 years and counting Jesus still has not returned.
PAUL SAID IT WAS YOUR CHOICE!

But God had him write that so the Church of Babylon could form.

God's real believers don't need man or a religious church building!

Proof that religious people don't even read the bible even those that do are so blind and deaf even though they see and hear

Marcial Maciel is the LEGION OF CHRIST FOUNDER.

Luke 8
30 Jesus then asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion," for many demons had entered him.

31 And they begged him not to command them to depart into the abyss.

32 Now a large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, and they begged him to let them enter these. So he gave them permission.

33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and drowned.

Think about this next time you eat pork ha

as for Maciel, God doesn't drive out demons from God mocking wolves in sheep's clothing, and those stupid hats also!

ON the contrary, all this written above proves the Catholic church, a powerful religion that forbids their priest to marry women "because they are afraid of the vagina corrupting them but not afraid of little boys, is the whore of Babylon!

Signed, a Pescatarian

and no that's no relation to pork eating Presbyterians
