However, there's one thing that knocks this product from a 5/5 to a 3/5. The iPod transmitter I used in this vehicle previously (an iTrip made by Griffin, though I couldn't find the same model to buy again) had a feature where the iPod would be automatically pause when the car was turned off. This transmitter doesn't do that, so unless you remember to shut the iPod off when leaving the vehicle, you'll usually return to a dead battery on the iPod. You'll then have to wait a couple minutes for it to get enough of a charge to turn on. Even once it does turn on, the pace of the charging doesn't always match the power consumption, so you'll quickly find your music shut off when the battery drains a few seconds later. Since the old transmitter that I used in the same car would automatically pause the iPod, I never had that problem.
