This review is from: Prentice Hall's Federal Taxation 2012 Individuals (25th Edition) (Prentice Hall's Federal Taxation Individuals) (Hardcover)
I found this book extremely useful in my case because my tutor of taxes does not explain anything really but rather wasting time deriving some examples from his own life so if not the book, which is written in plain and logical manner, coupled with problem solving at the end of each chapter I would not be able to understand income taxation at all!!! It's good basic book for those not previously exposed to the topic. Hovewer, one drawback is that I keep coming across typos, which are confusing, especially when you are doing problems and want to be absolutely sure that you've made no mistakes. Besides, the book is an excellent piece of work with the exception that you should get the newest edition available to make sure the information, rates, deduction amounts, and calculation principles, etc. represent the actual state of the things.
