Fantasy as its best,
This review is from: Guardians of the Grimoire (Book 1 of the Grimoire Trilogy) (Kindle Edition)
The Guardians of the Grimoire is Natasha Slight's debut offering into the world of Fantasy novels and I must congratulate Ms. Slight on two things: The author has written an excellent Fantasy tale that is well plotted out and she has done something authors can look to as an example of how a novel should be presented. The editing of this tale is well-done and I found no grammatical errors at all.
The Grimoire is a book that contains magic enough to overpower the different realms of the universe. The Spirit Mother, Echina, asks the goddess Gaïa to watch over the Grimoire and train three young humans given the responsibility of protecting the Grimoire when they come of age. Gaïa chooses three sisters with magical powers and asks them to protect the children until they are ready.
The god, Kaël, an evil being, seeks the power of the Grimoire but he must secure three keys to open the book. He would destroy anyone standing in his way.
The Guardians of the Grimoire is the first in a series of books and it ends leaving the reader wanting to know more.
Magic, evil and danger are ripe in this tale and Natasha Slight will impress you with her knowledge of proper language style--for the setting--and her knowledge of fighting skills.
Read The Guardians of the Grimoire and you won't be disappointed and you will look for her next book in the series.
