1.0 out of 5 stars bag broke after usihg 2 times/very poor customer service, June 9, 2009
This review is from: WORX TriVac WG500 12 amp All-in-One Electric Blower/Mulcher/Vacuum (Lawn & Patio)
After the second use the zipper on the bag broke. Contacting customer service has been a nightmare. They don't answer the phone and a machine asks you to leave a call back number, which they say they will return in 24-48 hours, never happened. Finally after 2 weeks I finally got a hold of someone. They would not provide me with a phone # that was not a 1-800 number or physical address for their company or let me talk to a supervisor (said they were all busy on other phone calls. They did consent to replace the bag, but I am not sure this is a good idea if their customer service stinks. Seriously considering returning the whole unit.

This is not a bad unit but unfortunately my experience is the same as this reviewer. These bags are truly a piece of crap (the zipper will become separated from the bag very easily) and the customer service is hit or miss. Some are just horrible mean people who hate there jobs and others are quite helpful. When it's time to purchase another unit, it will not be a worx.

I've had my unit for about 6 weeks and the zipper just broke. When I called customer service a recording came on saying I was number 39 and waiting. Can you imagine holding for 38 other callers? Obviously they don't want your call. So I went to the website where they say they'll respond to you quickly. It's been 3 days and still nothing. I think I've finally learned my lesson about infomercials - just don't buy it no matter how good it looks.

Worx is actually owned by Positec USA Inc (which also owns Rockwell brand products)- here's their corporate website and contact info. You won't find it on either the Worx or the Rockwell websites:

Just plain old junk. My bag is stuck on the machine and will not budge, so I have to empty it attached. This is one of the worst purchases I made on Amazon.

Going on six days of trying to get customer service. Finally got through and left my number. They called back a few hours later when I was gone. Haven't heard a word since. Tried again today and same message. No way to leave a message. Sent an email, reply back from Worx was blank. I don't know how a company with this atrocious customer service can stay in business. Found a replacement parts company that has Worx parts but the impeller (fan) has been discontinued by WorX. Unbelievable!

Update: Called the number for Positec USA and spoke to someone who said they would call back in 48 hours. Thanks.
