Great bang for your buck,
This review is from: 4Sevens MiniX 123 (Electronics)
An excellent light that packs a lot of functionality and brightness into a very small form factor. It's unbelievable that you can get 210 lumens out of this little thing. A perfect light for EDC, car use or walking the dog on a dark winter night. Not a keychain light!
Pros - The low settings have long run times. The high setting is 210 lumens which will illuminate a wide area and objects over a hundred feet away. (The max setting will eat up your battery in an hour, but that's typical with such lights.)
Easy user interface - just twist the flashlight head once for low, twice for medium and third for max brightness. If you cycle through the settings 3 times quickly, you have access to the strobe mode, SOS, and a Hi or Low beacon setting. That's a lot of functionality.
Use the expensive CR123 battery. (But that's what lets the Mini X pump out 210 lumens)
No clip. While small, the Mini X it's .60 in diameter. So it's a tad chunky but it still carries great in a pocket or on a lanyard loop.
This is a great light and you get a lot for your money. For example, a Fenix LD01, also a great light, costs $39 and had no strobe or beacon settings and had a max output of 80 lumens compared to the Mini X's 210. For $5 more you get more bang for your buck.
