1.0 out of 5 stars Most problems Ive ever had with an HP printer, August 14, 2010
This review is from: HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One (CB867A#B1H) (Office Product)
We installed this printer and had it working for about a week and then the problems started. We called the HP technical support line and after an hour of diagnostics they decided to issue a replacement. The problem was with the optical scanner, it stopped scanning so we couldn't fax or copy. We waited two weeks for the replacement. The replacement arrived and we set it up. When we powered it on the error message "remove foam/ cartridge jam". We called technical support again to try to resolve the issue. Same story, one hour and they tried to get us to accept a replacement. here we go again...

I agree! The 4500 I received would not print the first page. After about two hours and two phone calls HP agreed to replace my NEW 4500 with a USED 4500. Twenty-four days later my USED replacement arrived and I had to drive 32 miles and pay a dropoff fee in order to return the defective printer within the 3 days HP allowed me for the return. As far as I am concerned HP lost a dedicated customer over their handling of a $49 machine. This was my fifth HP printer and it will be my last. HP needs to look at their customer service!
