This gorgeous Anne Klein watch arrived in a lovely gift-quality display box. I love gold jewelry, and I’m partial to watches that are gold as well. The first thing I noticed when opening the box is how beautiful the unique rose gold color is. It sets it apart from your typical “man gold” jewelry or watch color and gives it a very soft and feminine appearance. This rose gold is used on the entire watch and band.
The bezel, sides, back, and bracelet are glossy. In contrast, the face of the watch has a soft, satin, brushed finish. The design is simple with elevated gold dashes at the 3, 6, and 9:00 hours, and a small diamond at the 12:00 hour. The diamond appears larger than it really is, which gives this watch a very expensive look while being sold at a very reasonable price. The hour and minute hands are simple like the hour marks, and there is a thin second hand.
The link bracelet/band is beautifully made, smooth as glass on both the inside and outside of the band, and excellent in quality. The clasp lays just as flat and smoothly against your skin. This is an important point to me, as I have had lesser quality watches on which the clasp was elevated and thereby tended to catch on table edges, desks, and even my clothing. Not the case with this watch. I have an average size wrist...not petite and not overly large...and this band fits me perfectly with no slack and no pinching.
Setting the watch is simple. Pull the stem, set the time, release the stem. This watch came preset to the correct time and has kept perfect time for the couple of weeks that I have had it.
The style is both dressy and especially classy. It would look great with a little black dress or your most casual jeans (which is my style).
