This review is from: SMARTmini AUX Bluetooth Receiver Car Kit Adapter with Hands-Free Calling and Wireless Music Streaming by GOgroove - Works with Apple iPhone 7 , Samsung Galaxy S7 and More Smartphones and Tablets (Electronics)
I bought 2. One for my Acura TL which has bluetooth but the darn thing is dead. It costs $200 just for part to replace the bluetooth unit. Another one is for my Infiniti with has bluetooth handfree but no A2DP. Both unit work flawlessly. Great sound quality. Easy to use just like using a bluetooth headset. Battery can be charged while it's working. I'm planning to to a permanent install to hide all the wires in both cars this weekend.

I too have an Infiniti with no A2DP connection. I take it you didn't need the speaker portion of this device but had to mount the whole unit anyways. Where did you end up putting it?

I'm thinking about just dropping it in the center console and would think the BT connection would go through the cover.

The device has no speaker portion. I mounted it by the driver seat so that it's easier to turn it on.
I wanted to use it for HF too so putting it in the console is not an option but I would think the signal will pass through without any problems.

What year is your Infiniti? I have a 2009 FX35 and the only inputs I see in the center console box are RCA plugs. Looking at the plug for this device it looks like its about the size of a headphone jack. Where did you plug yours into?

You need a 3.5mm RCA Female Auxiliary Adapter. If you want it to look clean on your dash (require drilling), get the "FLUSH MOUNT AUX 3.5MM 1/8" extension too. Those are cheap on fleabay.
By the way, DW loves the FX.
