This review is from: Cosmopolis (DVD)
I love Robert Pattinson. I'm absolutely convinced that he is going to have a long and distinguished career. I loved all the Twilight movies, and I adored him in Remember Me. And then he started to choose projects that would stretch him and confound his fans. Bel Ami was stiff, but Cosmopolis is a study in stiff. It's not a movie so much as a long nightmare in which every word is measured and every character represents something heavy. Seriously, movie lovers, why deliberately expose yourselves to this free-flowing abuse of screen time? Even Pattinson, who is very handsome in his business suit, isn't enough to make me want to watch this again. I'm not sorry I bought it; I'm just sorry I watched it.

Ravin, I think you are doomed to disappointment because I don't think Pattinson can really act! He was good in the Twilight films because he had the right look and voice for Edward plus he had great chemistry with Kristen Stewart. Outside of that none of his films have been great...he was terrible in "Water for Elephants", "Bel Ami" and "Cosmopolis". He and Reese were cringe worthy together and he hasn't overwhelmed me with chemistry with his other leading ladies. I'm sorry but I think his career peaked with the Twilight films.
