This review is from: Rev Up: The Best of Mitch Ryder & Detroit Wheels (Audio CD)
I had the opportunity to see Mitch Ryder and Detroit Wheels twice in the early 70's at the Paramont Theater in Wilkes Barre, PA. They were at the pinnacle of their musical hit careers. They literally brought the house down. Explosive R & B music. There was no one else with their horn section power and style of music. James Brown and the Flames were similar but different. I always loved MR & DW music and when they left the music scene it left a huge gap.
