Customer Review

on June 10, 2011
This book takes about half an hour to read, and will give you a basic introduction to the Second World War. The book emphasizes on the military aspect: it tells about the Blitzkrieg, the role of the British, Americans and Russians, D-Day, the Aftermath of the war, and more. There is not much information on the effects of the war on the civilian populations in the countries that were at war. Good to refresh your memory or as a starting point for further reading about the Second World War.

(Note: this book has the same editor as 'World War II 101: the TextVook' and may have an identical text.)
