This review is from: Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge (Paperback)
A great oral history of grunge and seattle music in the last 20 years. Captures the joy and excitement of the music as well as the tremendous sadness and tragedy around the deaths of some of its heroes, such as Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley. Very worth reading. The only thing missing for me was any insight or discussion of the artistic process or the music itself. Still, highly recommended.
