2.0 out of 5 stars Okay product, October 24, 2011
This review is from: Quirky Cordies Desktop Cable Management for power cords and charging accessory cables (Black) (Personal Computers)
The concept is great. However the build on the product is limited to smaller cables (Apple specifically). The larger cables (like external hard drives and audio cords) don't work well because their diameter is larger.

Overall, an okay product.

Obviously I have no way of knowing what qualifies as small to you and I'm not familiar with audio cords intended for computers. Are they the size of RCA cables?

I use two of these devices with external HDD enclosures with no issues. My eSATA, USB3 and FW800 cables slot in great. Obviously the thicker cords cause bending of the spacers but I'd imagine this was part of the design.

My only disappointment is that they're JUST heavy enough to keep a full compliment of larger cables from compromising stability. If they were another 3 ounces I'd have no concerns. Consequently, I try to keep them an inch or two away from the edge of my desk.

I agree with Christopher Kane as I own no Apple products and have no issues. Obviously the larger the cable the more difficult it maybe to insert or remove from device but as the spaces are rubber and therefore flexible I have found no issues.

I don't know what kind of cables you re using for your hard drive or audio devices but I own a few hdd cables and audio cables which would all fit easily. You must have exceptionally larger cables.
