I recently upgraded to this monitor from an older VX2240. I wanted the 1920x1080 resolution and 120Hz for gaming, the 3D is just a bonus. I was not disappointed in the least. This monitor is fast and the games I play are noticeably smoother now. The default setting for response time is set to high and I noticed the lowest setting still yielded great performance without color response lag of the higher two settings. 3D performance is remarkable, but that's not what I bought this monitor for. The 3D is a little dark, but most games have a brightness or gamma adjustment that fixes this issue.
My only complaint, not mfgr's fault, is that a lot of games have to be played in windowed mode to utilize the 120Hz refresh rate. It's a game patch thing that will hopefully be addressed for older games with patches.
I would surely recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a new performance setup.
