5-12 MP cammeras are better,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nikon COOLPIX L30 20.1 MP Digital Camera with 5x Zoom NIKKOR Lens and 720p HD Video (Red) (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Electronics)
I bought this camera because I needed an easy to use point and shoot that could print large prints. This camera fails at all my requirements. First off it takes blurry photos. I thought some of the other reviewers were mocking it but no. I used studio lighting, and a tripod in an attempt to minimize the haziness of the image. It always blurred at full resolution and at half resolution, 10 MP. Every image blurry to some degree and using every setting that it had. The large LCD is nice but lags in what is shown. The last item of criticism is the lag time for photos. Kids and pets will never be captured by this camera, with just over 1 second lag it fails to capture any of my two year olds faces. I returned this camera and suggest others to be weary of purchasing it.

Oh how I wish I read this review before I went out and bought one. I too have had the same problems with this camera and cannot return it because I've had it for more than 15 days!

I had the same issue with mine. I figured it was just me not knowing how to use the camera correctly, so I didn't return it within the return period. When I finally called Nikon they were extremely rude to me and suggested I buy a new camera. I did, it's a cannon.

Maybe you guys should wipe your screens off, or get some glasses or something. I've got this camera, and it takes great pictures at 20 MP and 4 MP. You might also try downloading the User's Guide from the Nikon site, and find out how to actually USE this camera.

I have to agree with the reviewer; I owned this camera; nothing but blurry shots; was not worth taking back; I trashed it.
