North Korea is not wholly opaque. Dr. Armstrong shines a spotlight on this place for those who care to understand the hermit kin, May 5, 2014
This review is from: Tyranny of the Weak: North Korea and the World, 1950-1992 (Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University) (Hardcover)
This book is excellent for people who want to better understand North Korea. It is well written and scholarly. I recommend it, as a person who has lived on the Korean peninsula for a decade and a half and is embedded in the culture.
