Find a Better Movie,
This review is from: The Call (DVD)
The first thing that I noticed about this movie is the horrible wig that Halle Berry wore. It looked like a hedgehog curled up and napping on her head. After that, the movie went even further downhill.
This movie has it all: implausible story line, gaping plot holes, continuity errors, incredible circumstances and a terrible ending. Here is one example: It would be impossible for anyone to forcibly remove a taillight assembly from the inside of a trunk but we are expected to believe that a teenage girl can kick it a few times and it pops out, leaving a huge hole. She can stick out her arm and pour out a can of paint but when the car stops at an intersection directly in front of other cars, the girl fails to put her arm out to be seen. Duh...
Continuity error: The blonde trainee that Jordan displaces on the headset when Casey calls was supposedly not yet on the job six months earlier but she appeared behind Jordan during the earlier episode.
The ending: Jordan and Casey decide to bind the killer to a dentist's chair in his hidden bunker and leave him to die after quickly cobbling together a flimsy cover story. I have to believe that the police would have MANY questions about her escape. "Tell us about where you were held." "How did you escape?" "Where did Jordan find you?" "Jordan, why were you in that area?" The investigation would continue since the killer would still considered to be "at large" and the suspect in multiple horrendous killings. It would not take long for the police to find the killer's bunker and take him into custody.
Enjoy the movie!
