If you are looking for Google's history, culture, and how Google is changing media, this book will not disappoint you. My objection is that it is poorly organized and rambles at times. It would have been much better at 200 pages. There are numerous quotes from random people that add little to the book. These long quotations impede the narrative flow of the story. In the beginning he discusses certain early employees but I was puzzled as to the significance of these anecdotes with regards to the bigger picture.
Google is a very interesting story and relevant to anyone who wants to understand how media and technology are changing. The book gives you lots of insights but there is a lot of room for improvement in the telling of the story. I cannot comment on the numerous other books written about Google but perhaps there is one out there which is just as informative without the fat.
