This review is from: DISNEY INFINITY Figure 3-Pack: Sidekicks (Mrs. Incredible, Barbossa, and Mike) (Accessory)
We bought the Sidekick pack because one just had to have Mrs. Incredible and Mike Wazowski. The characters are sturdy--though I don't recommend them for 'action-figure' playing whatsoever. This is the cheapest way to get counterparts for the standard Starter Pack characters, and we're pleased with the purchase.

i have been looking everywhere but couldn't find anything.
what do the extra figures (mike, randy, syndrome, etc...) add to the game and enable you to do.
are there extra missions? or is it just to be able to play as them in the playset and toybox?

thanks for your reply

Specifically in the case of the Incredibles, each character has their own unique powers, much like in the movie.

In general though, extra theme-specific characters are necessary if you want to do any kind of co-op play. This is due to the fact that for the story modes (Incredibles, PoTC, Monsters University., Cars, Lone Ranger (the last two which are from purchasing the extra play sets)) you can only have characters that exist within their normal universe. So for PoTC, you can only use Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, and Barbosa, for instance. So if you have two people wanting to play, you're going to need at least two characters from the same universe.

For toy box mode, anything goes, and the individual characters also unlock character specific in-game toys for use in toy box mode.

Adding on to Gregory's post, additional characters unlock new adventures in the Toy Box (press 2, select Travel, press Adventures) when they are on the base. Also, there are special boxes within the Play Sets that can be unlocked with a specific character.

*Just a reminder: Play Sets on the Wii version of Disney Infinity DO NOT support 2-player co-op.

Do they come with their character cards?

Denise says:
They come with one card (one web code) that unlocks all three of them online.

Oh ok! Thank you! Still contemplating on wether to buy or not. (As a collector I like to have Everything. Literally! haha! The individual Characters come with their own cards. I guess if I do get this, I will later buy the characters indiviualy.

That would probably be the best option for a collector. :)
