Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This switch works just like the description says. I have a Roku Media Player and my xbox 360 hooked up through it and works flawlessly switching between the two devices.

When you say it works flawlessly, are you referring to "Auto Switching" between Roku and Xbox, or manually? I have the same set up, xbox and Roku. Currently, I have to unplug one device for the other due to lack of ports on my tv. However, as you know, Roku does not power off. My concern is that I will have to use the switch manually because of this. If that is the case, purchasing this is useless because i can continue to unplug roku from the port and plug in xbox when I want to play. I am hoping that xbox will supersede Roku when turned on automatically and when i power off xbox, it will auto switch back to roku. Please help! I loof forward to your reply. Thanks.

Andrea De Biaggi says:
I have this switch and Direct TV HD in one hdmi port and the Roku Box in the other port, the third port is available. The switch doesn't recognize the Roku Box even if it's "on" all the time. Nor even manually will be able to display any images from Roku on the TV. I read a couple of reviews where the users reported that the Roku should be in the last of the 3 positions available. It doesn't work either. I'd love to learn how others are doing it because several people have Roku and this switch device, and they claim it does work.
