Basiclly A Textbook, Not What I Expected.,
This review is from: A Guide for the Study of Animals (Kindle Edition)
This book was not what I expected. It's useful to an extent, but it's pretty much not helpful unless you are actually in school, which is what the book is for I'm assuming.
There are some vocabulary words with their definitions for each species and some shorts explanations of animals from insects, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, etc. But the majority of the book is made up of study guide questions like "look at this animal, what is it's shape, color, what is said body part like."
This book is good if you are in school studying animals, otherwise, there's no use of it because you won't know how to answer the questions. Basically, this is a very simple textbook with hands on activities with no pictures, lots of study guide questions, and simple explanations.
