Fuzzy Bee has been downsized,
This review is from: Fuzzy Bee and Friends (Cloth Books) (Rag Book)
I have no problem with the book - my daughter loves the characters in it - just the fact that Priddy Books has apparently eliminated two characters (Sally Spider and Fly to be exact). The only reason I know this is because I recently bought (and returned) Fuzzy Bee based on our enjoyment of an older version. The reduced characters/number of pages wouldn't necessarily be a problem except that Priddy Books is apparently trying to pull a fast one - the copyright date, ISBN, etc. are all exactly the same...only there's two fewer characters and pages than before. Perhaps there's a good explanation for it, but Priddy Books won't return my phone calls. So I'm giving Fuzzy Bee the lowest rating out of principle.

We noticed the same thing! Frankly, the materials used are also much cheaper -- the beetle wings are not as iridescent, the worm is not as textured, etc. After reading a friend's copy, buying our own was SUCH a disappointment!!!!!!

Ha... here is my answer. I just saw the "old version" today and was baffled why ours don't have the spider and fly, and snail's is different. Since I ordered mine from overstock.com, I thought ours were an older version - didn't realize the better one is actually the old version.

I searched and searched for the one with the fly and the spider....it is so much better! After looking online,I ordered one that said it was the ten page version, but it was not. Really disappointing.
Also, a tip is that you should not leave these in a hot car or the crinkly stuff inside the front page melts and sticks the page to itself, making it all smooshed up and contorted.
