Steve Jobs would say: "This is ....",

I have received my Kindle Touch (in Germany) approx. one week ago and read the Steve Jobs biography on it. The biography is excellent, the Kindle is not.
While reading about Steve Jobs and his drive to create the perfect machines, I always thought that he would have said "the kindle is s...!".
To be more ordered here are the pros and cons:
- Great to read, even in sunlight
- Long lasting battery
- You always accidentally touch the screen and the pages flip
- You never really know where you are in your book. Position 8233? 53%? We are not computers, but humans, how would I want to remember position 8233? If I am not mistaken, a slider to slide through pages like on the Ipad is missing
- Then there is the PDF-problem: I thought I could read my scientific literature (PDFs) on the Ipad. Far from it. The zooming with pinching fingers, etc is possible but does not help as it is too slow, there is now reading flow with it. When I read further, there is this solution, that you can send a PDF as an e-mail to your kindle with the subject-line "convert" and then it converts it. This is really stupid. A device like the kindle should have an internal converter integrated.
As a summary: yes, you can read books with it, but I am very disappointed in the missing usability. Do not expect something usable like an Ipad...
