This thing is freakin' awesome, I've not had a single problem with either of the two. I'm still a little confused why it needs a power adapter, because I've not used the power adapter at all. I plugged the USB section into my laptop and that provided the electricity it needed to run everything. I have 2 of these and every single port has something running from it and its working great. The only issue is trying to use the wireless mouse plugged into the USB port, it's data transfer isn't fast enough to keep the mouse working, so that has to be plugged into the laptop directly. But, everything else is AWESOME and it works better than expected. The flashing light in the center gets to be a little distracting if you have it in your peripheral.
