Disappointing substitute from the Original,
This review is from: Rubik's Cube (Discontinued by manufacturer) (Toy)
Out of the box, the cube is stiff, cannot be really speeded very well, and I assume it's going to go downhill from here. Doesn't have the feel, crispness, and mechanical snap of the original by Ideal. Why is it so difficult to duplicate the original? Well for us addicts what are we going to do?

Hopefully the one that's currently out of stock on ThinkGeek.com is better.

Go to www.puzl.co.uk
They sell the cubes made in Hungary at a factory overseen by Mr. Rubik (yes he is still living), and they are still being made today!

You can use petroleum jelly to lubricate the cube and make it turn better. I have the same problem with the stickers. I'm looking for a cube that has paint for the colors instead of stickers.
