Essentially, I agree with those who give this Pathétique five stars; save for the march, which by the last iteration sounds a little too "achtung." That exceedingly minor complaint aside, it is perfect and perfectly enjoyable.
As to the Schumann, Klemperer's account equals any other recording I've heard, no exception.
Until this performance I hadn't realized how great an ensemble the Philharmonia was in those early years. Unique in its sound, and superlative.
