Poorly fitting, does not work, and bad customer service.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I noticed that there are different suppliers depending on the size. I ordered the large gloves and the order was fulfilled by the Travel Supply Store.
I am a 6'1" adult male with normal size hands, and these just did not fit. They were VERY tight around the base of the fingers, to the point of actually being uncomfortable when I tried to close my fingers around something. They were very loose at the tips of the fingers, and very loose around the palm.
When using with my iPhone, it just didn't work well at all. In part because they were loose at the finger tips it often wouldn't recognize my touching the phone, but also the inductive portion almost NEVER worked when using the tip of my index finger for some reason, likely because of the poor fit.
Even though *I* paid to send these back, they are refusing to refund my $25 because I did not send back the barcode/packaging. They also cried directly to Amazon when I threatened negative feedback because of the refusal to give a refund; they said that in addition to NOT giving a refund, they will have Amazon remove any negative feedback I post.
Even if I do not receive a refund I have a right to leave negative feedback because I DO NOT LIKE THEIR PRODUCT. Buy from this company at your own risk -- maybe you will get lucky and get a pair that fits you and works well, but otherwise you are out of luck and potentially out of $25.
---- 2/10/12 Update ----
After I complained directly to Amazon, my refund was magically processed. I am adding back a star, but I consider this a star in favor of Amazon. As best as I can tell this refund is being processed because of Amazon, not the Travel Supply Store which was refusing to give the refund. My warning still stands, be wary of purchasing anything from this company.
Also, I went to Burlington Coat Factory, who has a HUGE selection of smartphone gloves, and found a much better pair for $12.
