1.0 out of 5 stars Contains Lead, January 4, 2013
This review is from: Bachmann Durango and Silverton HO Scale Ready To Run Electric Train Set (Toy)
This product contains lead and has a lead warning on the box. This was purchased for children and now needs to be returned. Very disappointing that there is no mention of this even on the manufacturer website!

The lead solder will not harm you unless you eat it, the solder is used to make the wiring connections... In normal handling it shouldn't be a problem because you actually have to dissemble the locomotive to see the soldered wires.
