No book has cut to the heart of what it means to be an American better than Frank J Fleming's How to Fix Everything in America Forever: The Plan to Keep America Awesome since de Tocqueville's Democracy in America. In the pantheon of political philosophy it surely ranks above that august tome in that he not only shines a bright light on the American soul, but he lays before us simple solutions to the many problems facing America, both at home and abroad. In its rigorous presentation, it belongs next to Aristotle's Politics on the shelf of every scholar. But to be honest, having internalized the simple truths contained herein, it is difficult to remember any other book so just throw them away. Like a magnet to a hard drive, the sheer power of the arguments contained in this small tract has reset my thinking and this is the boot disk that has restored onto me a proper understanding of the issues facing this great nation. Open your eyes, grab your hammers, and prepare for awesome. Read this book, we have a country to fix. Forever.
