This review is from: Connect Four (Toy)
I had this game back in 1978, when it was a big 16.25 inches wide. The box I got today was about 9 x 9 inches square. Milton Bradley has severely downsized this game and it looks much less structurally sound than the game I remember. The game may still be fun to play, but the picture and size description here on Amazon do not give an accurate representation of the game being delivered. Shame on Milton Bradley for the weak new version and shame on Amazon for failing to update its image. I will return this and find one second-hand. I want the original, big, sturdy version again.

There is a product picture available to all buyers. Clearly, the checkers in the picture are black and red, not black and blue. Also, in the product description, it gives you the dimensions of the game. This is a customer review regarding the seller, not the maker of this game! Vent your rage elsewhere.

I'm very upset about what I got. I was at a friend's house playing connect four with his kids on an original set. I wanted to get the same thing for our kids who are old enough now to play this great game. UNFORTUNATELY this is NOT the original game as shown in the picture! The board is smaller but also the pieces are inset so far that you lose feel of the play. Also, the bottom row (which is so crucial to the game play) is made of this stupid wavy thing that allows for "3 ways to play". Listen, if I wanted 3 ways to play I'd ask for it. I want friggin' connect four. Why fix what isn't broken!!!
