  This book is recipe oriented approach done right; there is the right amount of information in each recipe on how to solve a problem and the respective take-away from the solution. Often the author provides multiple approaches to tackle a task and reasons the best option; this approach is very effective. Another aspect that shines through is the organization and narrative, you can either read the book sequentially or a recipe at random; the content is so masterfully narrated that each recipe stands on its own.
  
  Even experienced users will pick up a tip or two from this book; hence I would recommend all users of Vim to try this out.
  
  I sincerely wish there was a hard bound copy of this book; I am sure my paperback will wear out soon after reuse and re-reads :)
