1.0 out of 5 stars How are you supposed to clean this thing?, February 15, 2012
This review is from: Babycakes CC-2828PK Cupcake Maker, Pink, 8 Cupcakes (Kitchen)
This was designed with a million grooves around the edge of each cupcake to fill up with batter. So you go to clean it and realize that the metal plates don't pop out. So there you stand holding it sideways over the sink trying to get the crispy batter chunks out of a million grooves.

Sure you can spray it, but after time this is just gross and uncleanable

You can always use the paper cups. That's what I do and I have no mess to clean up at all after. :)

Just wait until it cools and crispy batter flicks right off. I have also noticed that spraying it makes a sticky mess don't use it. If the cupcake is sticking then let it cook for a minute or two more. Once it is done it will come right out.
