For the record, I've had no issues playing MP on PS3, not a single hiccup, no lag, no wonky hits, nothing.

Also, for the record, know that the internet is the worlds complain department...no ones goes out of their way to say nice things, so while I do know there is a technical issue, I believe its overblown, as the people who aren't having them, are playing, not complaining online.

Maps - I like them, varied, and once you learn them, they get better and better...people complain that "maps suck" after 5 minutes cause they got sniped or someone with a SMG is sprinting like a fool...give it time, its going to evolve.

Sounds - Much better gun sounds this time

Colors - Someone actually complained it looked like a disney game..HA...it has a little more color than your usual brown/gray shooter, I like it. If it was dull, people would complain

I dont ever play single player or zombies, so I cannot and will not comment.

Regarding the launch, imagine you were going to have 20 family members over for thanksgiving once a year, do you buy a 8 bedroom house because of that? no. You cram people in, and get through that few days as best as possible. Thats whats happening here, you CANNOT expect their servers to easily handle millions of people online when they will be expecting 100,000 to be on normally, buy the extra servers (bedrooms in my equation if you arent following here) would be dumb.

Within 2 days, everyone will be playing easily, within 2 weeks everyone will love the art direction and maps...people get so dramatic on launch days.
