Love, love, love this book! Elise is a woman I totally relate to. She is a no-nonsense woman who finds her husband dead of a heart attack at quite a young age. I was widowed at 32 and her thoughts and reactions were so similar to mine. I have worked in State government and can relate to her job description woes, also. The book was beautifully worded and moved right along without lingering on it's beautiful prose. I thought I was well-versed on the English language, but I had to look up a couple of words in the dictionary. Kudos to the author! Her insight into her relationship with her husband brought me to look at my own relationship with my current husband. The ending is well worth waiting for. I came away with a couple of thoughts: I really miss my garden and my husband and I need to update our wills! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Read this book. You won't be disappointed.
