This review is from: Catching Fox (Kindle Edition)
I've read one other book from Aimee McNeil and it was so good. That I was really looking forward to reading Catching Fox.
Adalynne Fairweather at six years old, has perfect blonde curls, and a big bright smile who becomes friends with a quiet green eyed boy. She decides to call him Fox, because she remembers seeing a fox earlier in the week, that was quick, quiet and beautiful. Adalynne's nickname will be Bee because then she can wear stripes all the time and play in the flowers whenever she wants.
Damon Knight has messy dark hair and green eyes who's trying to forget his abusive parent and his home life by secretly playing out in the woods with his new friend, Bee.
As they grew older they didn't spend as many days playing in the woods as they did curled up in Bee's bed together. She would always leave her window open for him because usually he would come. They would either stay up late talking or they just lay in bed together. Adalynne was falling in love with Fox. She wondered if he felt the same way about her.
Bee decides her Senior year of high school that she is going to surprise Fox and start going to a public school with him. When she finds him at school he is kissing another girl. When he finally notices her, he says something to his friends and they all start laughing. This breaks Bee's heart, she didn’t expect Fox to snub her off.
This is the beginning of Bee chasing after Fox. Read to see if she can finally catch her Fox!
This was a great book that I was reading every free second I had. I was even reading into the morning hours because I couldn't find a stopping point to stop reading. As I was writing this review I went back to look up some details and found myself reading the book again. I definitely could read this book a second time. Aimee I would love have a book from Fox's point of view.
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. Review by Melissa K for HEA Fanatics.
