Nice Watch For the Money,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Nice Watch For the Money. Only had this watch for a short time but have owned a similar casio watch before and was looking for something to replace it. I like it because it is thin and not bulky like so many watches are. Looks and feels good. One draw back is that local wal-mart will not replace battery on casio watches because of the rubber seal. No big deal. You can have a jewelry store replace it, send it in to casio for replacement or just toss it and buy a new one for the money. Battery on my old one lasted for several years. If you are looking for a nice affordable digital watch this may be the one for you.

I wouldn't let Wal Mart touch any of my watches. And instead of paying the jeweler, you can put that money towards the proper tool to open the back. Many Casios just require a very small phillips screwdriver-they have screws.

Yep, the battery can be replaced yourself. You just take the screws out, remove the module from the case and there will be four little clips on the sides that hold the battery holder and control bars on. Pop the clips, insert the new battery, re secure the clips and put the module back in the case making sure the three buttons are fully pushed outwards so the control bars go under the ends of them. Then seat the gasket correctly, not hard and really not that important if you don't foolishly shower or swim with the watch on, put in the four screws and you're good to go for at least another 7 years.
