The Ravine made me ponder an almost unponderable question. Could a man lie, steal, murder his wife and child, take his own life and wind up in Heaven? Do we live in a world that all of that could be forgiven in the blink of an eye? What is in the mind of God? I read a lot of books, I enjoy a lot of books, yet I rarely have a discussion with friends about the books I read. I've found myself in 4 different conversations with people I care about in the last 2 days. It moved me to the point of wanting others to share in the answers at the bottom of The Ravine.
