5.0 out of 5 stars These bulbs are life savers, September 27, 2011
I have a medical condition in which CFL bulbs and regular fluorescent lights cause me to have seizures. LED replacement bulbs are also a problem because light fixtures often operate on alternating current, causing them to flicker. While this flicker is imperceptible to most people, I have an abnormally high flicker fusion threshold, allowing me to see the flicker and have resulting medical problems. Needless to say, I've been stocking up on incandescent lights like crazy so I can continue light my house after the ban. (People have commented that "there is no ban, just regulation on energy efficiency." Whatever, the regulations are so strict that they effectively ban incandescent lighting.)

Of all of the incandescent bulbs I've tried out, GE Soft White and Reveal bulbs are my favorite. They last a very long time, provide beautiful lighting, and are perfectly priced. This is definitely the brand to get.

Many LED lights have an AC to DC converter. These types should not flicker.

u want a DPC9000 Power Conditioner. i have been using one for 10 years for my pc and some lights. it makes the pc monitor like new, much better than without it. it makes the light pure. the electricity from the power plant is far away and by the time it reaches the house it's dirty, the frequency is all over the place, it's wild. the DPC9000 Power Conditioner cleans the frequency and makes it pure and steady.
