the guy in the spotlight review only wishes he wrote college papers like this,
This review is from: The Science of Success: How To Attract Prosperity and Create Harmonic Wealth Through Proven Principles (Paperback)
While I have never heard James Arthur Ray in conference, judging from his book, he must be an amazing individual. I found this book very original, and for the critic in the spotlight review to claim that it's simply a "re-hashing of concepts" is absurd. To take something that seemed common and to make it new, or to view it in a different way, that is that mark of a great writer. And in my opinion, Ray is certainly a great writer, and this book is most definitely a great book.

Primrose Hill says:
To someone familiar with the 20th century success writings, I'm afraid this does seem like a huge re-hash -- even in the author's blurbs he supplied to Amazon, most things are old-hat. Some quotes are the same (but without quotation marks) as I've seen in earlier works. Nothing wrong with that, but citing the original sources would be good. On the plus side, the author has great enthusiasm, and to his credit wrote this in 1999, years before this recent marketing mania of secret success "teachings".
