I wish I could find more music like this! This is Jewel's best in my opinion. My two favs on this disc are "Sov Gott" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," but honestly, there's not one track on this CD that isn't beautiful. I usually can't stand female singers because it seems they have to use the entire musical scale on most every song. It's so irritating. Jewel simply sings. She doesn't screech and send the cat sliding into the next room just to prove she can. How refreshing! When I want soothing music, I definitely DON'T want a display of someone's vocal range. Why is that so hard to find? If I could find more music like this CD, I wouldn't have to listen to it almost every day. I'd have variety. Soothing variety. Nice singing variety. I've even thought about writing to Jewel and begging her to do more albums like this one. I tried Allison Krauss' music because I love that song, "When You Say Nothing At All." She is apparently an excellent bluegrass musician, which is her choice, of course, but why can't she do a beautiful, calm album and throw it out there for people who want to hear the angelic side of her voice? She's got plenty of toe-tappers already for her bluegrass fans. Like Dolly, too, amazing voice! Can't we have just one album that is clear, beautiful singing, sans the hoedown selections? Not that I don't like a good hoedown as much as the next person. C'mon, spread the joy! Why are these people with amazing, gorgeous, soothing voices so stingy with them?! Oh how I wish I could sing like them, so I could relax and feel lovely and happy and breathe deeply and slowly whenever I wanted. Anyone know where I can find more music like this? I'm fixin to put "Lullaby" on yet AGAIN! If you don't mind your eyes tearing up because the beauty of Jewel's voice is a rare mesmerizing talent, then get this CD! I love it! Oh yeah, the baby loves it, too.
