DMX is back, and it's "Undisputed",
This review is from: Undisputed (Explicit) (Audio CD)
After a six year hiatus, legendary 90's rapper DMX has returned with a new record entitled Undisputed. The rapper has once again proved himself worthy of rapping in our generation. Most rappers from the 90's and early 2000's have fallen in recent years, but DMX isn't one of them. Despite the fact he experienced many personal tribulations since his previous album release, he has defiantly proved himself a force to be recon with. "Undisputed" is a flawless masterpiece of original 90's rap that most of our generation has forgotten about. The old school beats mashed together with modern day urban rap tunes make for an outstanding work of art. Each track on the record is immaculate, whether it's depressing, erotic, or upbeat, every single track is a spectacular timeless Hip-Hop masterpiece. The albums featured artist makes the music much more diverse. This album includes collaborations with R&B vocalist Adreena Mills, Dani Stevenson, Rachel Taylor, and Kashmere. Their sweet honey gospel vocals mashed with DMX's hardcore raspy flame voice make for a perfect R&B/Rap combination giving the tracks a very urban up-beat sound. The albums lead single "I Don't Dance" featuring Machine Gun Kelly, is without a doubt a fantastic collaboration because both of them delivered the song so effortlessly. This album is defiantly worth buying, for all you rap fans this is the album to look into. I give this album a 10/10 and a full five stars.
