Kindle edition full of errors!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sophie's Choice: A Novel (Open Road) (Kindle Edition)
I'm sure this is a great book, but the Kindle edition is almost unreadable! It appears to have been created by scanning a hardcopy, and then published without even so much as spell checking it! There are so many instances of things like lower case 'l' appearing as number '1' that it is hard to get through the book!

Amazon Customer says:
Does anyone know if the errors in the Kindle edition have been corrected as yet?

I downloaded the Kindle edition a few weeks ago, and there are still errors in scanning. However, it's no more than a minor annoyance, and certainly still readable. I'd estimate there's no more than one error every 20 pages or so, and never anything more major than a misplaced period or swapped letter. It's always immediately obvious what the original intention was without. However, if you expect those sorts of things to trip you up, then I'd wait on the Kindle version or pick up a print copy.

Math Mom says:
The errors are few, and the intended meaning is obvious. The reviewer that wrote that the Kindle version is "almost unreadable" is certainly exercising extreme hyperbole.
